In all of the images below the scanner scanner from right to left.

My hand scanned with no movement 

An object scanned whilst moving slowly in the same direction as the scanner results in a stretched image. Using this technique I have created both an elongated hand and a widened hand.

An object scanned whilst moving slowly against the direction of the scanner results in a condensed image. Using this technique I have created both a shortened hand and a narrowed hand. Unfortunately my fingers left condensation on the scanner glass leaving unsightly marks on the image.

An object scanned whilst moving slowly round in a circle results in a bent image. Using this technique I took two scans, one rotating clockwise and one rotating anti-clockwise to capture my hand bent in two different directions.
