There are various compositional techniques in which objects can be arranged to create a pleasant, aesthetic image. The techniques include arranging the objects in a shape, placing them symmetrically and finally creating a balanced image that is asymmetrical. I have displayed an example of each below.

My personal favourite techniques are to place the objects in a shape and placing objects symmetrically. In my final image I have combined the two and created a symmetrical “heart” shape.
